It was a very busy weekend, I put my tree up finally :) it took me an hour to put it up and 3 hours to decorate it but it was worth the effort :) After I finished, I sat down and kept looking at it and smiling, yeah yeah i know, weird, but it made me feel good, it looks so pretty :)

Delicious Home-made Almond Biscotti

Made these almond biscotti the other day, first time I made them at home and they were absolutely delish. I didn’t realize how easy they were to make and how few ingredients are needed. When I look at recipes and see like 15 items on there I am put off to be honest :) The recipe for these almond biscotto I got off the web, just looked for the one with the least prep time and really not more than 5-6 ingredients...and did I say they tasted really good :) YUM :)

OOOh do they know it's christmas time :)

I lovelovelove Christmas! When I grew up in Germany, my parents never had a Christmas tree, you know it's not really a Turkish tradition, so I always felt like I was missing out on all the good stuff like presents, cookies and the celebration. Now I always have a tree up, I love decorating my little place with Christmas decorations. I didn’t put up my tree yet, guess you could say I was a little lazy last week :( but it is on my to-do list for this weekend, yay! But in the meantime and to get into the spirit, I bought this tiny little tree at Beymen a few days ago, it's sooo cute :)

New beginnings start with a new hair-cut

So what does a girl do when their birthday is coming up, especially when you are at that point where you don’t want to admit that you are getting older!? Go to the hairdresser of course :) I go to Ercan at Yildirim Ozdemir's salon in Bebek, personally I think that it's the best in town. I was like, make me look hip and cool, so he did I think... whatever, I feel good. :)
